Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 02, 2026

1. Introduction

Jammy, Inc. ("Jammy", "we", "us", or "our") operates the jammy.ai website and platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service. By using Jammy, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
  • Workspace data: Tasks, projects, comments, standups, channels, and other content you create within Jammy.
  • Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, and timestamps.
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, and IP address for security and analytics purposes.

3. Google Calendar Integration

If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, we access the following data through the Google Calendar API:

  • Calendar events: Event titles, descriptions, dates, times, locations, attendee lists, and conference/meeting links.
  • Event creation: When you accept an AI-suggested meeting, we create events on your Google Calendar on your behalf. We only create events when you explicitly approve them.

How we use your Google Calendar data:

  • Display your upcoming meetings alongside your tasks in the Jammy calendar view.
  • Use AI to suggest connections between your calendar events and tasks for better task preparation.
  • Suggest new meetings (such as 1-on-1s or follow-ups) based on your tasks and team activity. These are only created on your calendar when you explicitly approve them.

What we do NOT do with your Google Calendar data:

  • We do not sell, share, or transfer your calendar data to third parties.
  • We do not use your calendar data for advertising purposes.
  • We do not modify or delete your existing calendar events.
  • We do not access calendars other than your primary calendar.

Your Google Calendar connection can be disconnected at any time from your Settings page, which revokes our access and removes stored calendar data.

Jammy's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the Jammy platform and its features.
  • To personalize your experience, including AI-powered task suggestions and productivity insights.
  • To send you notifications about task updates, mentions, and team activity.
  • To improve our platform based on usage patterns and feedback.
  • To ensure security and prevent fraud or abuse.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit. Sensitive credentials, such as Google OAuth tokens, are encrypted using Active Record Encryption. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Within your workspace: Tasks, comments, and activity are visible to other members of your company workspace according to channel and project permissions.
  • Service providers: We use third-party services for hosting, email delivery, and error monitoring. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your data.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Jammy or its users.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Calendar event data synced from Google is retained while your integration is active and removed when you disconnect.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
  • Disconnect third-party integrations (such as Google Calendar) at any time.
  • Export your data upon request.
  • Opt out of non-essential communications.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@jammy.ai.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Jammy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
